Abstract
In museum, visitors are often guided by audio guide devices, via which they will make sense of the real meaning of an artifact. Museums, now, are adopting apps to guide visitors instead of relying on certain guide devices. However, the utilizations of smart devices in museum are mainly limited to display of collection information, rather than promote visitor interactions in museum visiting and learning. In this paper, we addressed a design of visitor interactions in a museum learning scenario based on smart devices. In this visitor interaction design: firstly, visitors are able to access to proprietary information of collection in exhibition halls; secondly, they can refer to correlative information of certain museum object from online museum platform we built in our previous researches. Finally, social media groups of each collection will facilitate communication between visitors and museum professionals in real time when visitors are puzzle by something that´s relevant to some artifacts in an exhibition.
