Abstract

Knowledge sharing among teachers, researchers and students in higher educational institutions plays an important role to improve learning and to stimulate new and creative insight. However, the knowledge in such institutions are basically scattered stored and thus inaccessible to others. Therefore a knowledge management platform is necessary to improve systematic and effective knowledge sharing. The paper aims at providing a versatile knowledge management platform to connect knowledge, knowledge seekers and knowledge providers. The K-Pool is introduced as a practical knowledge management platform for digital educational resources sharing in higher educational institutions.
