  • Abstract
    A Strong and Smart Grid is the development direction and established target of future grid in China. In respect that Smart Substation is the principal foundation and support of Smart Grid, the research on key technologies about smarting of substations, especially the intelligence of equipments, has attracted an increasing amount of attention in the recent years. In this paper, we demonstrate the latest concept, strategy and objective of State Grid in China for the development of intelligent equipments for smart substation. Meanwhile, we analyze the existing problems and present our latest research on technologies of intelligent equipments.
