State of the art of emerging technologies in Colombia

This paper analyzes the scientific production in the field of emerging technologies developed by groups of excellence, classified A1 in Colombia over the past 5 years. It aims to provide elements to set a picture of current trends in the country, in relation to emerging technologies. This is a study of the qualitative and quantitative kind, based on documentary analysis. Whose object of study are the articles published in indexed journals. It is made an analysis aimed at responding to such questions as: What are the most dynamic and most stagnant areas?; What are the dominant disciplinary approaches?, What are the preferred journals to publish?; What are the institutions in Colombia, most prolific in this kind of research?
