Abstract
The results of numerical simulation of high-power EMP excitation by scanning REB suggested in [1] and its anomalous braking near a conductive surface (metallic coaxial) are presented. The results occur more optimistical than it was supposed in [1]. Namely, the energetical pumping of EMP is continued at the nonlinear stage even when the reflected beam electrons appear and beam braking takes place. The EMP broading at this stage remains negligible and becomes significant only after the REB being switched off.
