Abstract
The coaxial corrugated horn is an important dual-band feed used in reflector antennas. The inner conductor of the coaxial feed is the high frequency feed, and the coaxial zone is the low frequency feed. The main research content is how to improve the performance of the low frequency feed. The paper studies the technique routes to realize the equal E-plane and H-plane pattern of the coaxial feed by electromagnetic emulation and experiment. The measured patterns of the feed are accord with the emulational results, and attain the performance anticipated, which validates the validity of the technique routes.
