Abstract
Efficient connection establishment is critical for traffic provisioning in WDM networks. In this paper, we consider the speeding up mechanisms under centralized control for static traffic in wavelength-routed networks. By assuming the clustered computer is implemented for centralized operators, the task of resource allocation on wavelengths and routes is executed by partitioning the resource to such master-slave platform. Two RWA scenarios are proposed and their performance are examined by conducting experiment simulations.
