Analysis of texture databases

In this paper, we present various databases of textures. We know that texture analysis has various applications in the field of computer vision and image processing. This paper summarizes and analyzes key databases and categorize them. A good number of databases are developed by different research groups for various texture analysis, in the field of medical analysis, robotics, recognition, analysis, image processing, etc. To our knowledge, there is no paper that covers various texture databases. Hence, we feel that this paper will be useful for related researchers.
