Abstract
Subsidence episodes have a direct impact on structures stability and may affect human activity. To this matter, the Cartographic Survey of Catalonia (ICC) and the Geological Survey of Catalonia (IGC) work together in order to generate and analyze deformation information generated by Persistent Scatterers DInSAR in Catalonia. This operational project allows identifying, monitoring, evaluating and defining the impact of those deformations at a regional scale. The results are used by IGC in the recommendations for municipality urban planning and hazard analysis.
