  • Abstract
    The main focus of this paper is on the design of WiMAX point-to-point layer 3 bridge system. The layer 3 bridge can be used to support a system that need a simple point-to-point WiMAX. The bridge system design can connect two network segments either with two different sub-networks or with one subnetworks by changing it´s mode automatically. It does not need a very high-end microprocessor because the calculation on the design is just for the filter system and forwarding system, therefore, the price of the infrastructure will be affordable. The system design has been implemented and tested with two different network topologies. The system has been work in realtime and can access most of internet site and applications.
