Abstract
This paper presents estimate analysis on three different applications using minimum phase filter when it is applied with adaptive FIR (finite impulse response) filter in beamforming structure. For a same estimate in filter weights of adaptive FIR filter, it is found that an application using a ratio of two minimum phase filters in one input shows a same result with an application using two inverted minimum phase filters from each inputs, where each inverted minimum phase filters estimate inverse of minimum phase term of acoustic path transfer function in a same channel. On the other hand, from an application using two minimum phase filters from each inputs, it is found that a minimum phase filter from each inputs estimates minimum phase term of acoustic path transfer function in an opposite channel for a same estimate in filter weights of adaptive FIR filter.
