The redativistic cherenkov generetor of surface wave investigation

There are a lot of papers concerning the research of Ciiurenkov generators based on interaction of intense relativistic. electron beam with the corrugated and iris waveguides [1–3]. It is due to single mode generation regime that the small transversal diaentions waveguides were used. But it was shown that the use of such waveguides leads to the slow-wave structure microwave breakdown, which limits radiation power value and pulse duration, forses to use electron te aia currents near their maximum values. We avoid many of these restrictions usine; the wide electron beams exciting the surface waves in the spaced slowe-wave structures. This paper deals with the investigations of such systems.
