Abstract
We have estimated the dosimetry for a wireless power transfer system using resonance. Electric and magnetic fields produced by the system have been calculated by using an electromagnetic solver. We computed induced electric fields and specific absorption rates in a Japanese adult male model (TARO) by the scattered-field finite-difference time-domain method taking into account both incident electric and magnetic fields and the impedance method taking into account only incident magnetic fields. The difference between the results for the two methods cannot be neglected. We discuss the dosimetry results along with the safe standards of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection.
