  • Abstract
    This paper presents performance improvement of an induction motor by Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC). 3D shaped stator core is used for the performance improvement. The teeth length of the pole surface is extended axially in order to increase the area of the magnetic pole. Experimental 3D shaped stator core is manufactured by press molding. Experimental result shows the low iron loss has kept during assembling.
