Abstract

The paper focuses on the analysis of the ten-year history of the doctoral study programme Specialization in Pedagogy - Theory of Education of Technical Subjects (Engineering Pedagogy). This study programme was introduced at the University of Hradec Kralove in 2000 and was running in cooperation with the Czech Technical University, Prague, and with the support of other technical universities in the Czech Republic until 2010. The paper provides some details of organization of the study programme and results of dissertation theses as examples of research activities in the field of engineering pedagogy.
