IMS2014 Opening and Closing Plenary Sessions

The opening Plenary Session officially kicks off the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 2 June 2014, in the convention center. During the opening session, you will hear from the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT??S) and IMS organizing committee leadership, have a chance to congratulate colleagues being recognized with prestigious MTT-S awards, and hear a thought-provoking keynote talk on the future of wireless connectivity and the impacts and opportunities for industry and academia. Our keynote speaker Dr. Vida Ilderem, vice president at Intel Labs and director of Integrated Computing Research (ICR) for Intel Corporation, will offer her insights on these trends that impact everyone in the IMS community. The IMS Closing Ceremony, scheduled for Thursday 5 June 2014 at 3:00 p.m., is another event not to be missed. Kyle Maynard, a motivational speaker, author, entrepreneur, and athlete will present his own incredibly inspirational story.
