Abstract
This paper conducted a questionnaire survey for the PE examinees engaged in the technical subject test of college entrance examination in Human province in 2006 using the Martens CSAI-2 questionnaire. The results show that their anxiety level has a significant improvement and their state anxiety is notably higher than the norm as well as the average score of the ordinary examinees in this research report. The state anxiety level of PE examinees has no significant difference in terms of gender, sports programs and the question whether they are previous students or graduating students. However, the obvious difference lies in their examination results and their cognitive state anxiety, somatic state anxiety. Their examination results are apt to be influenced by their self-confidence, which could be used to predict the examination performance of PE examinees. Therefore, coaches should spare no efforts to cultivate students´ self-confidence in everyday training.
