Abstract
This paper analyzes the importance of technology in the process of Clinical Data Management which is a heartbeat of any clinical trial. The fate of any clinical trial directly links to the clinical data generated during the study conducted in human subjects. This data turns into crucial information which is essential from the market perspective. The study was based on interpretive approach, combination of secondary data collection, interview and case study analysis. The study does not include any statistical inferences but gives an overview with the help of research questions. The results show that how technology has empowered clinical data managers and their workflow. Lastly, the use of electronic patient diaries will definitely help the clinical data management industry in the long run.
