Abstract
This paper addresses a low-complexity channel estimation algorithm for zero-padded orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (ZP-OFDM) systems. With ideal autocorrelation properties of Perfect Punctured Binary Sequence Pair (PPBSP), a time-domain least square (LS) channel estimator is proposed. According to the analysis of mean square error (MSE) and algorithm complexity, the proposed method achieves better performance compared with traditional method. Simulation results confirm our theoretical analysis and demonstrate that the proposed scheme is effective.
