Abstract
Plug and play architectures, commonly adopted in personal computer, are going to be extended also to the more complex spacecraft systems. Suitable radiating modules require broadband antennas with embedded tuning mechanism to balance the mutual electromagnetic interactions. The volumetric architecture here proposed includes multi-folded planar antennas and bond-wires devices for function re-configurability and computer-assisted impedance compensation.
