  • Abstract
Many different multiple-input multiple-output over-the-air (MIMO-OTA) test methods have been investigated for the terminal performance evaluation, which vary in their propagation channel characteristics, cost, and size. Anechoic chamber and fading emulator based multi-probe techniques have been widely investigated as a method for MIMO-OTA testing. In such system several probes are placed around the device under test (DUT). This paper investigates related uncertainties associated with multi-probe systems particularly 2-D multi-probe systems where probes are placed on the horizontal plane on a circle around the test zone.
