  • Abstract
Adaptive OFDM systems improve the spectral efficiency. In this paper, block adaptive modulation is implemented based on the realistic prediction of BER and fading parameters from the Multi-Resolution Frequency Domain ParFlow (MR-FDPF) model. The obtained average aggregate data rate per link from block adaptive modulation is compared to that from non-adaptive modulation, and then the average data rate gain is obtained. The predicted average data rate can be very useful to indoor wireless network designers.
