Abstract
This paper reports on the status of some of the research activities conducted at the University of Wuppertal that are related to the development of low-cost highly-integrated electronic detectors and sources in state-of-the-art core silicon technologies, both CMOS and SiGe HBT, for active imaging applications beyond 300 GHz.
