  • Abstract
    A CROSS-FAN antenna, a BOR with a short parasitic ring, and a rhombic grid array are categorized as natural antennas, while a spiral with an EBG reflector and a spiral with reactive elements are categorized as metamaterial antennas. These natural and metamaterial antennas are designed to have a low-profile structure and wide or moderately wide antenna characteristics.
