Abstract
NAS Operations are shifting to: computer flown flight (removing most human pilot uncertainty in trajectory modeling), system of systems optimization, rapid high content digital communication replacing slow voice interactions, high speed digital negotiation of (eventually 4D) flight plan changes; and an information-centric simulation architecture may better enable analysis of this paradigm than current aircraft-centric paradigms.
