Abstract
In electrical networks, the presence of non-symmetrical situation determines several effects. A consequence of non-symmetrical situations is the significant value of non-symmetry power. The computation of non-symmetry factor is a method for estimate the influence of non-symmetry power, in three-phase systems, (similar with estimation of reactive power influence by power factor value). The paper describes the computation procedure of non-symmetry factor, considering sequence components, (theorem Fortesque). The value of non-symmetry factor, as we describe, may characterize the non-symmetrical situations. Also, the paper analyzes the principle that sources of the negative and zero sequence components are the non-symmetric consumers.
