  • Abstract
Bandwidth efficiency is one of the most important indicators to measure different modulation schemes in digital communication systems. The waveforms of existing modulation schemes are all separated in time domain, making it difficult for them to improve in bandwidth efficiency. Compressive Sensing (CS) theory shows that it is possible to reconstruct original signals in aliasing measurements. In this paper, we propose a Compressive Modulation scheme by combining CS theory and traditional BPSK pattern. Theoretic analysis and experimental results show that the bandwidth efficiency can be highly improved by using the proposed scheme.
