Abstract
In this paper, a cascaded-clear channel assessment (CCA) which combines the advantage of energy detector (ED) and matched filter (MF) is proposed, namely CEM: Cascaded Energy detector Matched filter. CEM incorporates energy efficiency of EDand the reliability of MF. The probability of detection and false alarm of ED, PD and CEM are depicted in receiver operation curves (ROCs) of proposed scheme that is derived through simulations and analytic calculation. Simulation result showed that the probability of false alarm and probability of detection is between ED and MF.
