Abstract
This paper has been specially oriented towards the study of mobility and QOS between WiMAX and UMTS networks. We use three kind of comparison algorithm. This has been implemented in a simulator of our design in order to evaluate in a situation of mobility in a heterogeneous network. Following the simulations, the results show that in terms of performance in the context of the conversation WiMAX networks is superior than UMTS.
