Abstract
The introduction of distributed power sources is making the classic power grid out-of-date. One possibility of smart-grid is replacing the conventional one by introducing power routers. It inserts the information tag along with the power transmission. Important factors of the system, the classic transformers, are also not suitable for the above application since they lack of active control. Therefore, AC conversion systems are proposed to replace them. This paper focuses on the exploitation of nonlinear dynamics aiming to a faster and more agile AC/AC conversion.
