Abstract
The challenge of securing inter-communications becomes recently of great importance. The research on these services is growing rapidly within the recent years. In this paper, we provide an overview on the recent security methodologies in the field of spontaneous networks. We describe the requirements, the aspects, the pros and cons of each one. We raise the flag on open issues in this field over different environments. This paper forms a solid base for future contributions in this research area.
