Abstract
WebSTUIRE, presented in this paper, is a software engineering tool provided user interface requirements elicitation and specification with combining scenario-based approaches and prototyping approaches in a multi-user environment. The main idea of the approach is to elicit user interface requirements from UML interaction diagrams in order to generate SRS which include user interface requirements and have to be well understood and well presented to the developers and end-users and also provide easy way to extract main functionalities, features, and user interface of the software. This paper presents a description of our approach to software user interface requirements elicitation in addition to an overview of WebSTUIRE tool´s design concepts, organizing principles. Also included are examples of the tool´s use, a comparison between WebSTUIRE and similar CASE tools, and a discussion of needed features for software environments that support scenario based approaches and prototyping.
