  • Abstract
Coexistence of two systems in adjacent channels has long been a problem. Due to the scarcity of the frequency spectrum, there must be reliable measures of network plan and spectrum plan. Mobile service and satellite service will coexist at super high frequency band which means that a harmful interference problem may occur. In this paper, the interference between International Mobile Telecommunication-Advanced system at 3400-3600 MHz and the fixed-satellite service system at 3600-4200 MHz in China is analyzed using Monte Carlo simulations and deterministic analysis. According to the results of the analysis above, the advice of setting protecting distance in the fixed-satellite service is given in the end of this paper.
