Abstract
In this paper, an effective resource allocation mechanism aiming to avoid the uplink interference between the macro cell and the mobile relay (MR) cell is proposed. We firstly formulate this problem as a mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP). Such an optimization problem is hard to solve, we therefore propose an alternative heuristic scheme by which the bad resource blocks (BRBs) and suitable RBs are allocated separately between these two subsystems and then the optimal power is determined to maximize the system sum throughput. Implementation details are shown in a practical Long Term Evolution (LTE) system and simulations prove the efficacy of our provided approach.
