  • Abstract
    With current rapid developments of high-speed railway (HSR) vehicles, research on how to efficiently implement wireless communication around and within the HSR vehicle has become a hot point. In this paper, based on a popular system architecture of mobile relays (MRs) which are mounted in a high-speed train, we proposed an effective mechanism to avoid the interference between the macro cell and the mobile relay cell. Aided by the macro users, the macro eNB (MeNB) and MR can obtain the information on bad resource blocks (BRBs). By using the BRBs between the MR and its connected devices and using the RBs other than BRBs between the MeNB and its users, the interference can be avoided effectively. Implementation details are shown in a practical Long Term Evolution (LTE) system and simulations prove the efficacy of our provided mechanism.
