Abstract
A method of constructing and calculating of radially inhomogeneous dielectric is presented. A cylindrical Mikaelianlens (ML) antenna composed from stacked flower-like dielectric layers is proposed. The plane-wave expansion method (PEM) for calculating the photonic crystals (PC) is applied to investigate frequency and polarization properties of the inhomogeneous dielectric. The proposed methods were verified by numerical simulations.
