Abstract
This paper introduces a simple self-biased microwave rectifier in microstrip technology using commercial Schottky diode and operating at K-band frequency. The designed rectifier has a special configuration providing temperature stability and sensitivity at low RF input levels. The designed rectifier has a measured 82% efficiency for a 5mW RF input power at 24 GHz. The designed circuit presents potential application in the design of a wide-band rectenna for wireless power transmission.
