Abstract
Optimization problems are mathematical formulations of some physical model where, the target of the model is either maximizing or minimizing the output. Traditional models depended on Lagrange´s Multipliers and differential solutions. However, AI based optimization modeling is done using meta-heuristic algorithms, which mimic natural cohesive behavior. This paper studies the effective fitness values of the Bacteria Foraging Optimization (BFO) algorithm and its variants, Cooperative BFO (CBFO) in serial decomposition level and CBFO-hybrid for different test functions and its variation with dimensions.
