Abstract
There is potential loss of accuracy during trajectory exchange: controlling trajectory segment size can limit the extent of errors. Significant errors can result from situations of large wind gradients, ground speed changes with altitude and aircraft maneuvers. Trajectory exchange standards should consider the inclusion of information related to: - RTA guidance, prediction accuracy (figure of merit), wind information (wind used in the prediction), deviation tolerances.
