  • Abstract
    This paper presents a novel algorithm for distributed signal detection in networks of heterogeneous sensor platforms connected using restricted-bandwidth communications links. Using a variance-based approach, a good detection rate can be obtained whilst maintaining an excellent rejection of false positives.
