  • Abstract
    In this paper, we present two wide bandpass filter designs using parallel coupled resonator and hairpin resonator for the application of L-band (18cm) receiver of Urumqi 25-m radio telescope with the aid of the microwave simulation software ADS. All the simulations reach the design specification. The parallel coupled filter with preferable passband characteristics possesses a slightly larger structure, whereas the hairpin filter with compact structure has better stopband characteristics by comparison. By combining with software, we summarize the debugging solutions of these two filters which offfer great reference values for design of microstrip filter of other band receivers.
