  • Abstract
    The influence of the finite measuring spot diameter on the measured value of the mean longitudinal piezoelectric coefficient of 1-3-composites was investigated using the Finite-Element-Method (FEM) and a subsequent analysis. The results are compared with the real areic distribution of the local longitudinal piezoelectric coefficient and with an analytical approximation formula.
