Abstract
Navigation equipment such as attitude/heading system (AHS), air data system and inertial navigation system (INS) can´t be applied in micro unmanned air vehicle (MUAV) due to complex structure, too weight, bigger volume and high price. A new GALILEO/MIMU integrated navigation system is designed and developed in this paper. The new system completes the integrated function of attitude heading reference system, air data system and inertial navigation system. Besides, software implementation of the system is conducted by means of data fusion technique. Finally, experimental simulation is conducted to validate the system performance based on the observing data. The simulation result shows that the integrated navigation system´s performance is better in terms of accuracy and reliability. The weight of new system is only 1/300 of the original one. Main navigation parameter, i.e. position error reaches 1m.
