Abstract
Holographic beam-steering is an attractive way to steer optical beams and potentially to engineer the channel matrix in optical multi-input multi-output systems. In visible-light communications, a partially coherent LED is typically used as the optical source. This paper presents a novel algorithm to design beam-steering holograms for such partially coherent sources. Details of the algorithm and experimental results are shown.
