  • Abstract
    The spectrum of Time-Phase Modulation will spread because of its discontinuity in phase, and the bandwidth couldn´t be assured so that common filters fail to filter meanwhile preserving available messages. This paper considers adopting notch filter which can transfer phase information into magnitude information, and the notch affect will promote the amplitude of discontinuity in phase to display within overshoot form. Then we could demodulate easily by amplitude judgment. The simulations indicate that, the proposed notch filter in TPM communication system meets the requirement of time-phase modulation and can improve bandwidth efficiency.
