  • Abstract
    Particle system is an effective way to achieve fountain simulation. Basing on the basic principle of particle system and analysis of fountain morphological structure in real scene, we construct the abstract fountain model, analyze the movement, and finally realize the realistic rending by using texture mapping and billboard technology. To make the system more friendly to interact with and the effect more vivid, this paper not only abstracts key factors determining the fountain effect, but also adds the sound by introducing FMOD sound system. Experiments show that the system implemented in this way is in good interactivity and the effect is vivid.
