  • Abstract
    This paper shows that, in the SISO case, optimal mixed-sensitivity 2-norm controllers are also solutions to the optimal robust disturbance attenuation problem (ORDAP). That is, they deliver robust sensitivity reduction despite unstructured uncertainty at the optimal level. We explicitely identify one set of ORDAP weights for which such a controller is ORDAP optimal. Functional analysis duality theory is used to establish our conclusions.
