The Research Synopsis about SWIM in China

With the rapid development of economy around the world, the international aviation transportation has increased significantly since the late 20th century. The utilization of information, communication, network and satellite technologies has made the aviation transportation as a rapid-globalization action. The civil aviation informatization has become the obstacle of aviation development. Hence, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has proposed the concept of SWIM. Base on this proposal, FAA and Euro control have developed their current condition oriented studies. China also feels the pressure of aviation development, which indicates the Chinese-oriented SWIM, should be developed. This paper will briefly introduce the current situation of China civil aviation and SWIM research, and will make a conclusion and anticipation.
