Abstract
The aim of the article is the detection of advantages of multiobjective optimization methods for improving of power system oscillatory stability. The problem of automatic voltage regulator (AVR) amplification coefficients choice is considered for 57-node IEEE test scheme for the group of generators. The AVR settings choice is performed with use of vector criterion and special genetic algorithm of multiobjective optimization. The comparison of the results, which were got with use of the most common AVR settings choice principles in the conditions of real power systems, is made.
