Abstract
The motion of charged nano- and microparticles near a plain emitting surface is studied. Formulae governing the motion of particles in the main stream are found in the form of third-order polynomials. In the presence of a screening layer near the surface, the capture of particles can occur. In such a case, the particle drift along the emitting surface can also occur due to a small horizontal component of the force field. In certain cases we found that the time dependence of coordinates for nano-and microparticles can have periodic but nonharmonic character.
